Landscapes for Tomorrow
Join us at the National Landscapes Association Conference where we will address the question:
Are National Landscapes “Fit for the Future?"
The government in Westminster has announced that "protected landscapes are to be strengthened with new legislation and guidance to protect nature"; the Welsh Government is demanding that "National Landscape management plans must put the nature and climate emergency at their heart" and in Northern Ireland the Assembly will complete a landscape and policy review to inform an Action Plan by December 2025, and then publish a landscape strategy by March 2027.

At the conference a mix of keynote speakers, dynamic panels and interactive workshops will explore a breadth of issues, from innovative governance models that enhance community engagement and stewardship to climate adaptation and the integration of green energy solutions. We are particularly invested in amplifying youth voices, empowering the next generation to contribute to the enhancement of our landscapes. The conversation will extend to green finance as we explore funding mechanisms that prioritise ecological integrity and resilience.

Together we will chart a vision for the future, addressing the pressures on our landscapes while fostering solutions that promote both natural beauty and sustainable development. Join us to share insights, collaborate, and inspire change for the landscapes of tomorrow.
Sponsors
Sponsorship is essential to the conference; it helps us build relationships with key partner organisations, and enables more people to attend by keeping tickets affordable. Help raise your company’s profile by gaining direct access to our unrivalled network of landscape professionals and decision-makers.
Accessibility
We take accessibility seriously: if you have specific accessibility needs we will work with you and the venue team to ensure your conference is productive and enjoyable.
Because people's needs are individual, our approach is too. We welcome a discussion with you about your personal situation, and we will liaise with Winchester University to provide the information you need about the facilities available.
The daytime conference venue is newly built with accessibility in mind; it's accessible for wheelchair users, has a fantastic quiet space, and hearing loops are installed in the lecture theatre. Accessible bedrooms are available and we can provide photos to make sure they offer what you need. We use What3Words locations to give precise locations throughout the event. Bookable disabled parking spaces are available outside the buildings you'll be using.
One thing to note - the university is on a steep hill!
When you register you will be asked if you have any accessibility requirements; if you would like a discussion before you book please get in touch. We are happy to help.
Conference App

The conference app will be back! After the success of using the app at various events this year we will be sending out a link to all attendees a few weeks before the conference so you can start speaking to your fellow attendees.
